Reround joins Green Building Council Finland

Reround was accepted as a member of Green Building Council Finland (FIGBC) as of 27 August 2026. FIGBC is a non-profit organisation for the real estate and construction industry. More than 300 organisations take part in its work, with the shared goal of a real estate and construction sector that thrives within the carrying capacity of the planet.

Reround is building an automated service that covers the whole process of reusing building components, from inventory to information management, the marketplace and delivery. Building that service means building a partner network, which is why the company joined FIGBC already at the start-up stage.

“Reusing building components calls for cooperation between many different parties, and for new ways of working and new business practices. FIGBC offers an excellent and comprehensive network for exactly that, one in which opportunities to work together are easier to find and to advance,” says Simo Skogberg, CEO of Reround.

Reround also expects market insight from the network: knowledge of how the industry is developing, of new practices and of solutions that have been found to work. According to Skogberg, FIGBC’s publications, events and working groups are important channels for sharing that knowledge.

“Concrete examples of what works and where the difficulties have been help bring the circular economy into everyday construction. Sharing experiences and practical examples between the parties in the network plays a central role in that,” Skogberg says.
